Jaq?
If you've looked up Atton or searched for references to him on the Internet, you've probably come across the name "Jaq" and thought, what the the heck does this have to do with Atton? Well, it all began with a strategy guide that apparently referred to Atton as "Atton 'Jaq' Rand". Why this is or where it came from is something of a mystery. It was probably another plot point that was cut out, or else something removed from canon before release. At any rate, it's almost become "fanon" to say that Atton's name before he changed it was Jaq.
