About Annah
Annah is one of the major characters in the computer RPG Planescape: Torment. She is a 'tiefling', a person with fiend (demon) blood in her family history, which has gifted her with her skin tone and tail. She is a skilled fighter and thief, raised by the Collector, Pharod - or as Annah calls him, "Old Stuttercrutch". Unless you piss her off (and you can, trust me), she usually gets on okay with the other party members, except for Morte, with whom she bickers constantly, and Fall-From-Grace, who she doesn't trust. She's sexy, smart, tough, and doesn't take crap from anyone - and that's why I love her.
Annah's voice is performed by the talented pop singer Sheena Easton (see extras for some sound bites). Easton voices the role with heavy slang and a wonderful Irish accent. I could listen to her voice all day.
About Planescape: Torment
Planescape: Torment is a computer RPG set in the Forgotten Realms. The main character is a nameless man who cannot die, but he has no memories, and doesn't know how or why he came to be in this state. Only a few clues point to his past - a floating skull who is with him when he first awakens, and a tattooed message on his back that speaks of a journal and a Collector named Pharod. The game leaves you free to be as good, evil, or morally indifferent as you like, and is really more of a quest for self than a traditional "save the world" sort of RPG.
