Why did I make this fanlisting, you ask? Pirates have become something of a cultural icon. Not only are there true, historical pirates, there are pirate novels (Treasure Island), pirate movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Planet), pirate musicals (the Pirates of Penzance), pirate video games (Monkey Island, Pirates!, Tropico: Pirate Cove), pirate board games (Pirateer), pirate comics and animated series (One Piece, The Pirates of Dark Water), pirate snack food (Pirate's Booty!).... I could go on forever, but I'll spare you. I love almost everything to do with pirates, and I know other folks do as well. Thus, this fanlisting was born.
