Eiichiro Oda?

Eiichiro Oda, also known as Odacchi, is the artist and writer behind One Piece. His birthday is January 1, 1975. At the age of 17, he broke into the business with his short cowboy manga Wanted, which took second place in the Tezuka Awards, a competition for new manga artists. He then started to work as an assistant to Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator of Rurouni Kenshin. Odacchi then created One Piece, which is currently one of the top-selling manga titles in Japan. Oda lists Dragonball creator Akira Toriyama among his main influences.

Odacchi's art is easy to recognize; he tends to draw large hands and feet on his characters, and his facial expressions are very distinctive. His characters tend to grin a lot. ^_^ I enjoy Odacchi's art because of its imagination and whimsical flare. He is also a very talented storyteller, and he conveys emotion well in his images and his tales.
